Praying for Sleep

Praying for Sleep is a psychological thriller. All I can say about this book is that I have read better books in this category. The story is about a schizophrenic who escapes the asylum/prison for criminally insane. He is headed to a lady's house who testified at a murder trial where he is convicted. 4 people try to intercept him before he reaches his destination. His psychiatrist, the hospital director, a professional tracer and the lady's husband. The story starts from here and ends when he reaches the house.

The narrative is not powerful and drags. The author overdid the misleading the reader part that all murder mysteries have. However, the books gives a good insight into two things. 1) The thought process of a schizophrenic and 2) behavior of tracking dogs. Story wise, I would say 2 out of 5.
